Hi all!
What would you say your focus is in life? What do you spend your time doing, or striving for, your passion in life?
For me, my main focus in life is Jesus Christ, followed by going to school for massage therapy. My life has changed..has done a 180 turn around! It's awesome!
Sure some of my classes in school are boring..(as anyone in school has classes that aren't there faves..), however having something to do with my life just feels awesome! And, knowing I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength..it rocks!!
So, how about you all?
I have to say Jesus is pretty important for me as well. Not as important as he should be, but I'm young in the gospel, and am getting there. Otherwise my wife, writing, reading, music and now digital audio designing are my main passions.
Mine would be, to be there for people. It doesn't matter what the person believes in.
Mine used to be programming, and still is in a way.
But, now that I'm retired and don't have to worry about achieving goals to succeed (I've either done it or I haven't) I can, to some extent do the things I like.
I love doing research on the internet, reading, discussing philosophy with anyone who can discuss it without trying to convert me, and following politics.
Bob
Rowing. I'll drop anything for a chance to row. It's all I think about. I'm obsessed. I can't wait until practice and I love seeing my hard work turn into better results.
music. i love finding new groups or artists to listen to
Christ is primary in my life, of course.
Writing and music are also very big in my life. I love writing poetry, stories, essays, whatever. Also, I love listening to music, especially anything by Nine Inch Nails; I'm obsessed with the band.
Oh, and with the bitch cold weather settling in, sleeping is a passion of mine as well. lol
My passions are Jesus Christ, meeting new people, being married to my husband for 38 years, going to mass together, helping others, and listening to music and working with my Pac Mate and last, but not least, being on the zone, the boards and commenting to posts that interest me.
Well, I'm a bird guy, now a Guardian - member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a husband and father though as the daughter strides twoards 18 that role is changing fast, and now, an amateur radio operator.
I am generally curious. Often people think my interest in what it is they're up to is 'being polite'. Well I'm not being rude, but in fact I am most often genuinely interested, it is not just a courtesy.
Never thought of anything as passions though I am of course dedicated to wife and daughter, and take my oath of service to the U.S. Coast Guard, and to you the community, very seriously. We actually swear to aid defend and protect our communities, something unique to us as a Service.
do I just have to pick everything I do in life is my passion. can I say first and foremost my passion is my own life? followed by my happiness, my self interest, helping people, people in general, writing, reading, knowledge, politics, philosophy, and really my list can go on for ever. If I ain't passionate about something I won't do it.
The pursuit of peace. That could be music, helping people, job goals or whatever, but peace in my life is primary. Without it I am unhappy.
Well wow this is hard. I love so much. I Love the Lord but music runs close behind. Most of all I so want to help where ever I can. I want to help others live happy lives. Hugs
Christie
I think these are so interesting! Awesome!
I think my passion and goal in life is Helping others out when they need/deserve the help
Music is life.
Listening to clasic good music, finding new good music, or making my own original music. Coming up with the next new sound that will change hip-hop for the better.
My passion is singing.
Awesome.
I love sports, in particular Football (Australian Rules Football) I love it when my team wins, just an awesome feeling wehn going to matches and listening to the moans and groans of passionate football supporters. I also love Music and will be going to my first ever concert to see Simple Plan in June. Most of all though, I love my job.
after my love for jesus, my husband of 27 years, and my kids/grandkids, my main passion is learning. if we stop acquiring and using knowledge we start dying.
singing, music productionm being there for others, reading, and acquiring knowledge are all passions of mine, but I think singing takes the cake.
